I am not expert on record players or vintage electronics in general but I did attempt to test it and the needle moved nicely to the record and the needle played well and it spun smoothly however I did attempt to connect it to a old pioneer receiver that I don’t know if it’s fully working and I was unable to get the record player to play through the speakers. This may be a user error, or a flaw in the receiver or turntable but I can say the turntable spins and plays nicely. Nice unit! All controls work. Not sure on stylus b/c skating needs to balanced correctly, I’ve never messed with adjustments! Some discolor on these models. Top works, henges good! Top shows scuffing! Selling as working UNIT! Needs some TLC!
