Pioneer PL-41 belt drive turntable with original Pioneer cartridge and stylus. Original hinged dust cover and owners manual. New belt and fresh lubrication with synthetic oil. Works flawlessly. Sounds good through my Sansui amp and Bose 901s. Looks virtually new. Anything that looks like a split, crack, or scratch in the base is the wood grain. There are none. If there is a nicer one around, its probably in the original box somewhere. I do not have the original packing materials and am not comfortable trying to pack it myself for shipping, therefore I am offering local pickup only. I will deliver to Tyler or Austin. I realize the lack of shipping is a disadvantage and as a result am pricing this remarkable turntable significantly below its market value. Im happy to answer your questions.

Pioneer PL-41Professional, Belt Drive Stereo Turntable This is best described as a work of art with a great sound. There are many favorable reviews and other online articles on this 60s - 70s turntable. The Pioneer PL-41 is a classic wood & metal turntable. The base (plinth) is a beautiful walnut wood veneer on a heavy wood frame. The platter is almost 5 pounds. The motor is heavy-duty (see pictures). The entire turntable is 23 lbs. (package weight 37 lbs). The turntable is built like a tank. The quality of the build and components explains why this turntable is still highly desirable. This is in showroom quality (see pictures to evaluate the cosmetics). The video shows the quality of the turntable as well as the functionality. Please ask if have you any questions before purchasing.Notes: like all dust covers there are faint imperfections that are hard to photograph for viewing (nothing significant), but there is a rub on the inside of the dust cover caused by the rubber grommet at the end of the shaft that props up the dust cover lid when its open and returns to the base when closes (hard to photograph).
