Pioneer PL-A35 Fully Automatic Stereo Turntable Cartridge is a Pickering XV 15 with a D750 (Dustmaster) Stylus This is best described as a work of art with a great sound. There are many favorable reviews and other online articles on this 70s turntable. The Pioneer PL-A35 is a classic wood & metal turntable. The base (plinth) is a beautiful walnut wood veneer on a heavy wood frame. There is a heavy-duty motor for the platter and a Gear motor for the Pick-Up. The entire turntable is about 20 lbs. (package weight about 27+ lbs). The turntable is built like a tank. The quality of the build and components explains why this turntable is still highly desirable.Designed for ease-of- operation as well as precision, the PL-A35 is fully automatic— from the playing of the record to auto-repeat and tonearm return at the end of the record. You’ll never touch the tonearm, your records get extra long-life protection. Or use the manual operation if you prefer. Up for sale is a platter bearing and spindle salvaged from a Pioneer PL-A35 turntable. This item is in good working condition. The spindle is nice and straight. This part may be compatible with other Pioneer models but we do not know which ones. All that is for sale is what is described above and what is seen in the photos.
