I ran a CD Cleaner through both to clean the inside and this unit has --> THE LAST FIRMWARE UPDATE AVAILABLE - version 3.74 <-- Check the units that you are considering buying and ask if they have the last firmware update available - Chances are they do not.This machine actually works BETTER than 90% of the units on the market because of this update (it goes a long way when playing Blu-Ray) *** This also comes with the remote & power cord shown. This is off of a Pioneer site: It is very important that the Pioneer devices connected to your computer had their current drivers installed. Without current Pioneer BDP-23FD Blu-ray Disc Player Firmware 3.74 drivers there is a greater risk of the device malfunction, of the reduction in security, and there is a possibility of the total damage of the Pioneer device. Manufacturers from time to time issue new versions of the Pioneer BDP-23fD Blu-ray Disc Player Firmware 3.74 software, repairing the errors they find that may cause problems with the Pioneer devices. Therefore, if you notice that a new version of the Pioneer BDP-23FD Blu-ray Disc Player Firmware 3.74 driver is available, you should install it immediately .

Pioneer Elite BDP-23FD Blu-Ray/DVD/CD player in very good condition. It has some scratched on top, as shown in details. Otherwise it is in perfect condition. I have been using it as a CD and DVD player and it works and sounds great. Original remote included.

Unit has been fully tested and is working without issue. Comes with a generic branded remote (not original to the system). I personally used a Logitech Harmony Remote to test this units functions. Item may have some scratches, scuffs, dust, etc., consistent with its age and use.
