For sale is the foil plated bottom cover with the grounding terminal/pin and 8 long install screws, removed from a PL-115D turntable. This should be same parts used on models PL-112D and PL-117D. It includes the terminal/grounding pin that the blue signal ground wire fits onto... it is secured onto the foil side of the cover with a small bolt and nut. Im including the 8 long install screws that connect the wood base (not included) into the holes on the underside of the plastic plinth. This cover attached to the outer wood base/cabinet via staples that are still attached. This masonite cover has a foil covering that serves as a ground plate. The tonearm leads ground wire connects to a small circuit board, that in turn uses a blue ground wire that connects to the grounding pin attached to the bottom cover. Cover also has a square steel piece screwed to it... unsure of its function? The masonite has about 3 very slight, partial bends/cracks but they are not all the way through and dont compromise the integrity/function of the cover. This should be same foil cover used in the correct versions of the PL-112D and PL-117D and possible other models. Cover measures 16 & 7/8W x 13 & 3/8D. Cover assembly part # is PXA-147, grounding pin/terminal part # is KKC-011 and the 8 screws part # is PBA-011.Pioneer made 2 versions of the PL-115D turntable during the 2 year production run... main differences were the wood base, cover plate and feet, and how they all connected to each other.
