Vintage Pioneer PD-201 compact disc player, turns on but cd door struggles to open, and cds won’t read, cd reader lens fell out so I bagged it up to be shipped with it. Sold for parts or maybe someone savvy enough to fix it. Make me an offer as I don’t know how much to sell it for.

This listing is for a Pioneer PD-201 Compact Disc Player in excellent physical condition. Clean faceplate with a few scuffs on the top edge. Cover is clean with no dents, only a few marks on it. Overall it’s In really nice condition. See photos for further description. I’ve had this PD-201 for many years and used it regularly for years with no problems. I just took it off the shelf and out of the box to test before this listing and this is what I found. It hasn’t been used in a couple years. All of the CD functions are working. It plays CDs nicely. The display is clear and all lights working. The factory remote works. There is only ONE PROBLEM I Could Find. The CD Tray hangs up slightly when you press the button and it closes. If you follow the tray with your hand when it closes it goes in completely and works fine. If you press the button the tray goes in BUT IT HANGS UP SLIGHTLY on the Right Edge of the door opening and then sits there for a second and then opens up. If you follow it with your had and slightly guide it to the left when closing it closes and works fine. When you press the button to open it works fine. What it seems like to Me is the CD tray mechanism is out of alignment a little. If it is adjusted to the left slightly it would not touch the right edge of the opening and go in completely. I am not an electronics technician so I will not even take the cover off to look at it. For someone who is knowledgeable this is probably a laughable repair. For this reason I am listing the CD player for PARTS OR REPAIR- NO RETURNS. This listing includes the PD-201 CD Player, the matching factory Pioneer Remote, and the original factory Pioneer Box with styrofoam inserts. This is a vintage electronics that is being sold AS-IS, No Guarantee, No Warranty AND NO RETURNS. Ein Gert , das der Profi - Bastler bestimmt gut reparieren kann . Auch als Ersatzteile-Lager ist dieser Artikel gut zu benutzen .
