Pioneer Xl1550 (PL550) Selling my Japanese edition XL1550, which was the home market edition of the classic PL550 manual direct drive turntable. Turntable is quartz locked, though this can be switched off to allow pitch control. Speeds are spot on both with and without the quartz lock engaged. The turntable has a few issues, but luckily these are cosmetic and not mechanical. The cabinet is a little scruffy and could do with a clean, there is a hinge missing from the dust cover, though it is in pretty decent condition for its age. Unfortunately one of the feet has gone missing but these can be replaced pretty easily. Sound is clear from both channels. This is the Japanese model so will require a step-down down transformer (240v to 100v) to allow you to use it. I recommend Airlink transformers but there are plenty alternatives.
