I can include screws that were used when I bought speaker but they are NOT the original install screws... they dont have the cone-shaped heads that recede into holes as good as originals, but they will work ok. DONT buy tweeter if this is an issue !!! I can also include the rear foam gasket... it is a little deformed due to the way factory misaligned gasket so buyer will need to reform gasket and create a new screw-hole in foam gasket if used. These rear gaskets get really thin as they age. I sometimes make new ones. Vintage Pioneer HPM 100 Speakers. See pictures. These speakers have all of the components and worked very recently. the missing super tweeter not shown is included. They currently do not work but would make a great restoration project. You can get an idea of their condition from the pictures. Currently they just sit in my living room as I never got around to the restorations I had planned to the wooden housing. You can see in the pictures they have some scratches and signs of wear. I am selling them as is for these reasons. They sound exactly has they should, no rattles or distortion, all 4 drivers in each cabinet are fully functioning as are the level controls for the mid range and tweeter. The centre cap on on of the tweeters and one midrange on one of the speakers has been poked in but it doesn’t effect the operation or sound quality in any way, it’s purely cosmetic but worth mentioning, as otherwise these speakers are in perfect condition The cabinets are very clean and solid, there is NO parting of the wood om these speakers, they have been stored in a dry living room their entire lives so they are as solid as the day they left the factory, there are a few small marks here and there but overall they look fantastic, they really do look like they could of been purchased new a year ago but they where actually purchased new 44 years ago! These are the original 100w version, superior to the later 200w models. Pioneer realised back in the 1970s that they had wildly underrated the power handling ratings of the hpm-100 and as a result where loosing sales from people choosing to purchase other speakers with a higher rated power handling figure so pioneer simply doubled the rated power handling and put a plastic accent ring around the bass port, it’s common knowledge that pioneer did nothing to improve power handling in the 200w version, they are exactly the same…. What’s not so common knowledge however is that pioneer actually started to cut costs and find ways to produce the speakers cheaper as time went on, that magnets on the drivers got smaller the cabinets got lighter list the internal bracing and had thinner padding materials for sound damping. This is the original HPM-100(A) with the larger magnets heavier cabinet construction with internal bracing and proper materials inside for sound damping unlike the later 200w B and C variants.
