Fully functional with an incredibly warm blue light illuminating the time/timer. Its brightness has not declined with age, it can be seen clearly in direct sunlight. Only a few cosmetic flaws- some of the font has warn over time, the power cord has been (properly) repaired, and the plastic housing on one of outlets on the rear of the unit has cracked, but is still functional and power cords still fit snug.
