PIONEER ELITE C-90 REFERENCE CONTROL PREAMPLIFIER W/ REMOTE NEAR MINT. This unit has been properly bench tested. I read .004%THD+N but that is the noise floor of my HP analyzer, so it is probably lower. I have auditioned it for 2 months in a very high-end tube system and it sounds incredible. It is in near mint condition, and shows no signs of abuse or damage. It has a known history since it was new. I didnt check every function but i used the line level and phono inputs extensively and it works and sounds truly fantastic. It will be properly packed in new a custom made heavy duty commercial shipping box. It will be lined with 2 of Styrofoam. ebay will calculate the shipping. I do not accept returns on vintage equipment unless it is not as described so make sure you are purchasing what you know you want.

All functions were brought back to normal performance BUT the head/pinch roller assembly does not make contact with the cassette tape and capstan. This is due to a spring that’s missing. That spring normally presses the head/pinch roller assembly upward to make contact when PLAY button is pressed. Otherwise the motors, belts, pinch rollers, etc. are all operable. There is a built-in phono pre-amp with PHONO setting in face panel controls package.
