This is a vintage Pioneer SA-500 integrated amplifier from 1970-1972. This was Pioneers smallest unit at 8 watts per channel. This unit has just been serviced and has several new capacitors in the amplifier section. I used it for several days and its a nice sounding little amp. I would have guessed it was more like 2o watts from listening to it, but the specs say 8. There is a scrape on the faceplate and a few marks and scratches elsewhere from normal use, but its pretty good for a fifty-year old unit. See photos. Also included are two new speaker connector jacks, which always seem to get lost in these early Pioneers.

Pioneer SA-500A Vintage Stereo Amplifier Excellent Working Order. In very good working order. Has some minor age related wear such as small scuffs and marks and a small chip to wooden panel on left, bottom edge. Otherwise seems very clean for age. Tested and all worked well. No missing or broken knobs etc. Plug has been changed to UK 3 pin plug. Wire in very good condition. Please see photos for close ups of condition and further details.

Pioneer SA-500A Amplifier Retro/Vintage Stereo 1973 Fully working & complete. Sounds beautiful. A really solid and original example of this Japanese made classic Pioneer. This was my grandfathers amplifier who owned it from new. I have kept it since he passed away 5 years ago. It has been used occasionally since then. I have cleaned the amp inside and out including cleaning the pots and switches to remove any oxidation. Please note that this is over 45 years old so it may benefit from new capacitors.
