Selling my personal A27 that I recently had expertly restored ( $800 value not including round trip shipping to restorer) Please view last picture for all the work done. Phono section is fantastic! The unit plays and sounds wonderful, one of Pioneers best ever. It’s in good condition but shows normal wear from age and use. This amp was second only to the SX 1980 in the original sell price back in the late 70s. No cost was spared. The unit took a small hit on the return shipping from being restored and right aluminum bezel is a little loose (see pics). The lower door doesn’t want to open and close all the way at times and the case has a few small dents. It does NOT effect the excellent performance of this amp. This is very heavy weighing in around 63 lbs. These run class A at lower volume and can run pretty warm. I use a computer fan to help keep it cool (not included ) Restoration was first class and wasn’t cheap! I’m downsizing some of my larger amps that I don’t play often enough. Non smoking home. Excellent unit that doesn’t need anything done to it. It’s all be done! I use Safety Seals on my electronics. This will be properly packed and fully insured for safe arrival.

Up for sale is a nice Pioneer A-27 integrated stereo amp.This A-27 is one of the most famous Pioneer premium series 20 product.A-27 is an integrated amp that is essentially the M-25 amp with a preamp based upon the SPEC 1 pre. The retail price when sold in the late 70s was $1250. This A-27 is in very good cosmetic condition except there is one dent of the face plate when Spec 1 preamp was dropped accidently a while back. Except that it is in excellent condition. The amp runs in class A operation up to a certain watts and then kicks in the class AB for higher wattage operation just like in M-25 amp. This is one of the nicest solid state integrated amps I have ever owned. The new owner will be very pleased with the sound and performances. The bias and DC balance were checked and corrected according to the spec.It is in excellent working condition but I am selling it in as-is conditon due to its age with no warranty.This unit can be demoed for a local pickup purchase.

Hey! Got a super rare Vintage Pioneer amplifier. Best offer gets it! The power on / off switch has some damage/ bent but still the switch still powers the unit on. Also, there is a neutral (black) speaker wire connector on the back side that has been broken off and will need to be replaced. It is Untested, As is, parts or repair condition. It powered up and was able to get the different sources to light up. I dont have another piece of equipment at the moment but if I can figure out something to get a better test on it, then I will update the ad. Let me know if you have any questions!
