Beide Equipment sind in einem gutem bis sehr gutem Zustand, lediglich geringe Gebrauchsspuren dem Alter entsprechend. Aus einem Nichtraucherhaushalt. Diese Kombi ist ein Meisterwerk von Pioneer, edle Optik,doppel Mono Aufbau der M90a, verbunden mit einer außergewöhnlich hohen Leistung, die in der Lage ist, selbst schwierig zu betreibende Lautsprecher zu befeuern. Wenn man den Deckel der M90a öffnet (hatte jetzt vor dem Verkauf noch ein Hintergrund-Lämpchen gewechselt)), wird man von der beeindruckenden Ingenieurskunst der Konstrukteure förmlich überwältigt. Die sorgfältige Gestaltung und die hochwertigen Materialien, die verwendet wurden, sind wahrlich bemerkenswert. Hätte man die Pioneer-Logos auf den Transformatoren entfernt, könnte man fälschlicherweise annehmen, es handle sich um einen Endverstärker der Marke Accuphase (Voll-Kupfer Chassis). In Kombination mit der C90a Vorstufe kommt die M90a klanglich voll zur Geltung. Rein optisch ergänzt die hauseigene Vorstufe die M90a perfekt. Das Gerät wurde komplett entkernt, gereinigt und poliert. Sämtliche Relais (Omron) wurden durch neue Omron-Relais ersetzt. Samtliche Kondensatoren wurden erneuert. Die grünen Elkos wurden durch Nichicon UKZ oder UFG (Fine Gold) ersetzt. Die Folienkondensatoren wurden durch Wima-Folienkondensatoren ersetzt. Potentiometer (Lautstärke, Bass, Höhen, Balance) wurden gereinigt. Sämtliche alten Stecker (35-40Jahre alt) wurden durch neue ersetzt. Die Cinchbuchsen wurden alle durch neue Cinchbuchsen mit vergoldeten Kontakten ersetzt. Der Vorverstärker wurde geprüft und getestet und einem stundenlangem Probelauf unterzogen.
