The pause and fast forward functions seem to work when pressed. The Dolby surround seems to works. Probably just needs a good cleaning but I’m not sure.

Pioneer h-r99 8-track (as is) Powers On But Needs Repair. Has power, but couldnt get music to play. Has damage to plug prong but that doesnt seem to effect power if you push it in all the way. Also, has various dings and scratches as shown in pictures. Sold as is for parts or repair.

Powers up and plays tape, both channels seem even and fine, all function knobs and buttons work as they should. Issues: as said plays good and will switch tracks manually but does not play through tracks on its own. The door seems a bit loose and the plastic shield on door has started to come off, that staining you see on the door is on that thin sheet of plastic. Needs a detailed cleaning. Unit shows a few light dings. A medium flat rate box may be cheaper to your location for $17.10. 1968 Pioneer CAR AUTO 4/8-TRACK STEREO TAPE PLAYER Model 3104A Japan Made Shiny. The enclosure box is very shiny, mirror like. Overall physical condition is in great shape. The unit comes without a power cord so was not able to test it, item sold in the AS-IS CONDITION. The unit is also very clean in the inside, I removed the cover to inspect the belt condition, all looks great. Again unit is untested but physically looks super nice to be from 1968.
