***Pickering XV-15/750E DCF Series Phono Cartridge in Original Case*** This cartridge has been play-tested, and sounds great. It came from my dads collection, and although I dont know its exact history, it has been used, but is in very good cosmetic condition. It comes in the original metal box case, with the brochure, mounting hardware, and stylus guard. Everything in the pics is included. In addition to play-testing, I took a couple of pictures of the diamond tip with a USB microscope (see pics), and the bright spots on either side show the size of the contact patches, indicating some wear. In fact, the larger bright spot on the left indicates that there was not enough anti-skate force being applied by the previous owner. There is definitely some life left in the stylus (since the contact patches are not touching), but it is worth noting how much wear is present. From the front pic of the stylus, the elliptical tip looks to be a nude-mount to me, but the literature does not state this explicitly. Although I could not find the official compliance measurement for this cartridge, I believe it is high-compliance, which will perform best with a low-mass tonearm, but please do your research to check for compatibility with your setup. My experience with Pickering and Stanton cartridges is that they are fairly forgiving with setup. Over the last several years, I have sold many items from my dads collection of audio gear, and everything is tested and working (no junk), so check my feedback, and buy with confidence. I know that many Pickering and Stanton cartridges originally included plastic bushings that slide onto the wings, but those were not found inside the metal case of this item. Sorry.

Vintage Pickering XV-15/750E DFC Series CASE ONLY NO CARTRIDGE with paperwork and extras. Gold case shows light surface wear / scratches and opens / closes fine. Interior felt is very nice. Gold print looks great. Paperwork shows a bit or yellowing but in good shape. There are three out of the four plastic mounts (I guess they are for mounting). A,C,D are there. B is missing. Package with the screws has been opened, but there are still 7 or 8 in there with a couple washers. Fast, free shipping to the US.

Pickering XV-15/1200E Cartridge In Original Case w/ Genuine Pickering D750 Stylus - B This listing is for one used Pickering XV-15/1200E cartridge. The cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & the results are posted in two of the photos. The readings are very close & have a difference of less than 0.4%. The included stylus is a used, genuine Pickering D750. It is in excellent condition. The stylus has a .3 x .7 mil elliptical tip & the tracking force is ½ ~ 1½ grams. It is one step down from the originally included D1200 stylus with a .2 x .7 mil elliptical with a tracking force of ¾ ~ 1¼ grams. Also included is are the original plastic outer sleeve, metal container, plastic cartridge tray, spec/data sheet, unused warranty card, & the shown mounting hardware. Since the cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & this combination has been visually checked, there are NO returns or refunds. This item will require an adults’ signature for delivery. All of the cartridge/stylus combinations I sell are sold AS IS - in working condition. I do not offer ANY type of refund, exchange, or return on these cartridge/stylus combinations. If you have an issue with sibilance, it probably means that the cartridge/stylus is not a good match for your tonearm. Not that there is anything defective with this cartridge or stylus.
