Philips CDR 785 CD Compact Disc Recorder Player Partially Works READ. Unit powers on and the player side works as expected - the tray opens and all 3 discs can be read. However, the recorder side doesn’t seem to function properly. When the unit is powered on, the recorder tray opens - attempting to close it results in it opening again. This behavior is the same regardless of whether there is a CD inserted. There is also something on the screen causing a blurred effect. Might be an easy fix? Buyer to receive the exact item shown.
