Phase Linear 4000 Preamplifier, With Original Box & Owners Manual.This works well and sounds great.Clean and in Excellent Condition.All functions work and both LEDs work properly too.Cabinet and faceplate show very little wear. This has two minor functional issues that should be noted.When the volume is turned all the way down it does not go completely silent.Also, the balance is not quite centered correctly.Neither is a major issue and does not really affect function. This comes from the second owner. Please check my feedback and buy with confidence, my stereo equipment always gets positive reviews. Up for sale is a piece of audio history. It passed audio prior to shipping, but stopped working after shipping. Selling AS IS for parts or repair. It is a preamp only, no amplifiers are included. I dont believe that it has been serviced, and it might need some cap upgrades or other components for best performance. It is in fairly good physical condition for its age, it has some scratches that are visible on the front.

Tested everything working. There are 2 broken rca jacks. One for tape deck completely broken off and more importantly one of the main output jacks is loose although still working. For that reason and that reson only I am selling AS IS or parts/repair. Also, speaker balance scratchy and needs some deoxit. Some oxidation on volume knob
