Selling my Perreaux 150i integrated amp, from the Eloquence range. This amp is a beast! Huge amounts of power and loads of features. This particular unit also includes the optional Phono stage both MM & MC with settings in the processor controlled menus on the screen. Everything works perfectly. I am the second owner… Very expensive when new, had a retail of $6500 plus the optional Phono at $900. In very good condition.. Remote is included but has limited range, changed the battery but only works consistently within 10feet of the unit. All original box and packing also included. Note: There is alot of reading below. 150i is in great amp - without issue. I bought it new from Perreaux authorized dealer in New Zealand..They then shipped directly to Perreaux USA service center converted power supply from 220vac to 115vac for like $80. Designed and built in New Zealand I just dont use it to its full potential. Usually driving it at 1 watt or less. So needs a better home where the unit can preform as it was designed for. In a living room with expensive speakers. Sat in its location since I bought new. No scratches or dents. See my other auctions. I also sold my pass lab xa-25. This is a better sounding unit. After selling my pass lab, last week, I hooked it up in its place for my home system and played my reference cd that I listed to over many years. I heard notes on the cd I never heard before and music to the very far right against the side wall that had me looking over there like where is that coming from! Spanish Harlem, her voice was like I never heard before. She just filled the air all around me in stereo. Never heard this level of clarity from the pass lab. I now understand what level of electronics, and more importantly, how much money one needs to spend to get to this level. Btw, my speakers are the original jbl 100s that I listen to since 1976.
