Bei mir haben sich zu viele CD-Player angesammelt und nun werde ich mich von diesem besonderen Stück trennen. Der CD-Player ist deswegen besonders, weil das Laufwerk wie bei einem Plattenspieler konstruiert ist und man die CD mit der Beschriftung nach unten einlegt. Die CD liegt zentriert auf dem Teller und die Schublade schließt sich sanft. Dann lässt sich der gewünschte Song auf dem Zahlenblock eingeben. Neben dem normalen Audioanschluss könnte das Signal auch über den optischen Digitalausgang weitergegeben werden. Und es gibt noch einen regelbaren Kopfhörerausgang. Kleine Gebrauchsspuren sind erkennbar, aber nur wenn man genau hinsieht.
