The preamplifier section is entirely tube-based on 12AU7x2 and 12AX7x2, balanced and optimized for feeding the best MOSFET output stage for maximum effect In pure class A. The tubes are the best components to amplify the signal voltage, in order to preserve the quality, purity, and harmonic integrity of the original input signal. The Inpol technology supplies the current to increase output in pure class A of between 25% and 50% more together with a low impedance for a higher damping factor. The power stage is entirely balanced by the use of two Inpol circuits that are driven in opposite phases to each other, for the cancellation of distortion without using any feedback. Large coils are used as energy reserves in order to deliver the current ultra-fast, effective, and precise. The sound quality of Inpol is also unique and can only be obtained by this particular circuit design. From a on line review: This amp does not sound like any other tube, hybrid, or solid-state amplifier you have ever heard. The overall sound or tone of the Inpol is stunning in its purity, detail, and involvement. What separates it from the rest is the life-like naturalness, richness, musicality, warmth, and airiness combined with the pace and dynamics. I can assure that due to the absence of listening fatigue, combined with transparency, and presence, the enormous soundstage, and its life-like timbre will give you true and authentic high fidelity. It is beautiful but large and heavy 17 x 21 x 8 and 84lb. It has been serviced at EBC Electronics in Manville New Jersey. The preamp section on these amps has been known to have issues and Paul Saburov has replaced any components that might cause problems. Trouble free performance provides immense future listening pleasure. All tubes have been replaced with brand new Mullard from Upscale Audio.
