I've thought long and hard about selling this, my vinyl days are over for sure once this is gone. Excellent condition performs flawlessly. Have original box, manual and umbilical. I can send a power cord too if needed, let me know. I personally used a more fitting pc myself. There is a small bag of jumpers and maybe a small resistor, these were parts supplied from Pass when purchased new. I have them taped inside the phono preamp for shipping and this way they won't get lost.

I remember reading a review on these amplifiers and the reviewer already has plans ot keep his. If you know who and how these are built its easy to want one yourself. PASS amplifiers generally exist in 3 generations. The first, .5 and .8 (Dont ask to to explain those numers because I cant.). In this case the model is X-600 or first gen. Many owners never let these go and they are hard to find for sale since there is a lot of beleif that this was the best gen. Anyway, this customers fould a pair of X1000s so the 600s had to go. More then just an impressive 600 watts per channel (1200 at 4 ohms), these amplifiers will run in PURE CLASS-A up to 170 watts each! You NEVER use that kind of power, unless you want to damage something, so for all intensive purposes these are Class- A amps. They are also fully balanced from end to end. The PASS sound is colorless, yet imensly dynamic, yet warm at the same time. I guess we call that balanced. Because of this, the space and soundstage are massive. Everything is in control and convincingly real. Transparency and neutrality are at a reference level. Theres nothing these wont drive and do it well. These were in a system driving Wilson Alexandria XLFs at $200K/pair so they are capable of doing some amazing things. Our service departent went throught both amps and they are healthy and ready to provide years of enjoyment. PASS is also one of those brands that we RARELY see in our service department. I have had the pleasure of enjoying this Aleph Ono phono preamplifier for almost four years, and Im only selling to upgrade to a much more expensive phono stage. It has treated me well and is fully functional. It is dead silent and has a wonderfully detailed and expansive soundstage. There are many internal jumpers and dip switches for switching from MC to MM and loading the cartridge, as well as setting the gain. In addition to RCAs, the Ono has balanced out as well. Cosmetically, there are a couple of spots on the sharp edges of the anodizing where a bit of silver is showing. On the back corner, there is a bit of damage from a previous owner that isnt visible once its in the rack. Please see the pictures where I attempted to capture all spots i could find. This 35lb chunk of aluminum is very stout so shipping it to you should be very safe and straightforward.
