This is a legendary minimalist Aleph L preamp by Nelson Pass. The Aleph series was groundbreaking for its simple but brilliant circuitry and sonic purity. This particular preamp has been in climate controlled, smoke-free storage for several years following minimal use. I tested it prior to listing here, and it worked perfectly and sounded excellent. Wired for 120VAC power. The unit pictured is the exact one youll receive. I also have the original shipping box, which Ill use. NOTE that I do have a manual for this which I will include, but the serial number doesnt match the serial of this unit. That has no impact at all on this unit; it just means that the test data included in the manual wont apply to this particular unit (but it will be very close). Biete hier einen extrem hochwertigen Pass Labs Aleph 3 Clone an (bekannterweise stellt Nelson Pass ja all seine Schaltpläne zur Verfügung).Rein Class A, somit klanglich über jeden Zweifel erhaben.Habe den Verstärker selbst bei Kleinanzeigen erworben, musste notgedrungen durch das Veto meiner Frau mein Konzept ändern und brauche den Verstärker nun doch nicht.Da ich ihn selbst hier gekauft habe, kann ich technische Fragen nur bedingt beantworten.Der Nachbau erfolgte wohl durch einen Elektroniker unter Verwendung exklusivster Bauteile.Technisches: Es ist KEIN China-Bausatz! Es wurden nur spezielle Teile gekauft. Weitere Infos: Die Bauteile vom Verstärker wurden alle selektiert, DC am Ausgang unter 3mV!Der Trafo ist selbstverständlich überdimensioniert. Die Gleichrichtung erfolgt mittels Schottky Dioden, die Siebung ist 300000uF groß. Das Lautstärke Poti ist ein Stepper von Eizz. Die Lautsprecherbuchsen sind rhodiniert die Chinch Buchsen versilbert. Das Chinchkabel abgeschirmt und versilbert.Die Abmessungen: 320mm breit, 300mm tief, 120mm hoch.Das Stromkabel ist sehr dick, 3x4mm², wem das zu viel des Guten ist, kann ich auch ein normales Stromkabel dazu legen.Eine Lautsprecherschutzschaltung - je Kanal eine ist vorhanden - Einschaltverzögerung und DC Protektion.Die Schutzschaltungen haben ihre eigene Stromversorgung.Die Leistung sind etwa 2 x 30 Watt an 8 Ohm und 2 x 60 Watt an 4 oder 2 Ohm (Class A).Das Gehäuse wird ca. 20 Grad Celsius über Raumtemperatur warm, eben Class AMan benötigt keine extra Vorstufe/Vorverstärker. For sale is a Pass Labs 1.7 Clone Hi Fi Pre-amplifier based on IRF610/9610 MOSFET Class A design with 2 balanced inputs, 2 single ended inputs and balanced/single-ended outputs. It has both RCA and XLR inputs and can convert from single-ended to balanced and vice versa. This is a 230V system with twin internal R-core transformers and a resistor ladder / relay based volume control. There is no remote volume control. I believe it has around 20dB of gain. The unit was manufactured in China to what appears to be a good standard. I bought this for a project that was never completed. I have tested that it works correctly. It looks new.
