If your speakers are hard to drive, you might want to consider something else. This amp reminds me of a single ended tube amp from a sound perspective with perhaps a tad more bottom-end depending on the speaker. My experience is with Klipsch Cornwalls. It is Class A, so it runs warm to the touch. Like a tube power amp, you need to let it warm up before doing critical listening. I normally waited 30minutes or so. It’s not in the original box, but it will be overstuffed. I am the second owner.

Im sure if youre looking, you know what this is. These kits are $300 unassembled and are sold out. Its a genuinely great sounding preamp that has no right to be this good for this price. I bought this as a replacement while my preamp was being repaired, but couldve happily lived with it forever.
