This is essentially a brand new amplifier. It just returned from a full factory service and complete recap. The Pass Labs Aleph 0s, released in 1994 in the USA, is an American-made high-fidelity stereo power amplifier with an exceptional reputation for its build quality and sound. Pass Labs is known for their exceptional audio products, and this amp follows in the vein of the company’s high-performing legacy. The Aleph 0s was designed to produce natural sound by an asymmetric amplification scheme (single-ended output). All stages in the amp have a class A configuration with power MOSFET, used at outputs up to ~25 W per channel. Above this threshold, the amp switches to class A push-pull operation up to 40 W, above which class B operation is realized for higher output. Superb circuit design nearly universally praised for its sound. This is an exceptional amp for a top-notch home stereo system. The design is insanely cool. Don’t miss it! This amp is in very good condition, with some barely noticeable signs of age and use, including a a single tiny scratch (please see photographs).
