These components were taken out of the box and then installed onto a Salamander Designs equipment stand on their own shelves and never stacked, where they were on display and working great for a few years. They were then taken from the shelf cleaned off and put back into the original boxes and then stored in our storage room ever since several years now.These were just taken out of the boxes, powered up and tested to work and then cleaned up and re-boxed getting ready for this sale.As you can see in the photos, these components are in like new pristine condition and include all of the original packing materials and accessories that they came with. They are all double boxed and have their accessories all included in the box. None of the accessories were ever used or taken out of their boxes. So rest assured the equipment is in like new condition physically and functionally, all of the included items are brand new, and they will arrive safely in there included double boxes with straps. *One thing worth noting, is that the power indicator LED (left amp in photos) sometimes looks purple (sometimes its red as it should be) because the LED is starting to malfunction. Speaking with Parasound tech-support they told me that there is nothing wrong with the amp and that it is the LED itself that is starting to go. They mentioned that the LED can be replaced but it isnt necessary unless it is bothersome. Up for sale is a very clean Parasound JC1 monoblock amplifier however THIS AMP NEEDS SERVICE. The amp turns on but does not produce sound. I replaced most of the system so I did not take this in for repair. It may be as simple as a blown fuse but I’m not sure. I know it was functioning (powering my center channel) up to 3 months ago but all of a sudden stopped. It will come with the power cable and original double box.

This example of the remarkable Parasound JC-1 by John Curl is our last remaining Parasound Mono block amplifier...Thanks to FedEx Freight, who lost the matching JC-1, this single is now usable in only a few circumstances. As a mono amplifier it is still in great company and one of the best sounding and built amps we have ever set up.It can be used to drive a center channel, a passive subwoofer, a rear surround (6.1) or as a like new spare in the event someones JC-1 goes down and needs repair. I realize the market is now much smaller than when I had a pair of them and if anyone has or knows someone with a near perfect example of the JC-1 in Silver, I would love to hear from you! I am more interested in finding another single than I am parting with this one...but Ive been searching for almost a year without success, so I thought it was time to find this one a great home~ I love these amps and apart from the new JC-1+ ($16,000/pair) the new Classe Monos ($22,000/pair) and of course, the incomparable McIntosh MC1.25KW Monoblocks ($45,000/pair) the JC-1 was simply one of the best (if not the best) values in any monoblock amplifier we ever sold. Its that good! So, lets see how this goes...A new pair of the JC-1+ runs around $16,000~ (a bargain) I think the JC-1s were around 9,000/pair (a better bargain!) so Im hoping this SINGLE might find the right home for $3,000~ A single for sale is quite unique and I have not been able to find another single anywhere for sale, so if anyone knows the whereabouts of a NEW SINGLE in the box, Im interested and would pay up to $2,500 for it, but it would need to be in Silver, like new with the original box and packing~ If you have any concerns or questions about the JC-1, dont hesitate to contact me.What a wonderful piece of gear...
