Up for sale is my Parasound HCA-1200 mkII. The unit is in working shape and sound very good. I have used as a L/R power amp for my home theater for the last two years. Includes the power cord in the picture The amp has two issues: 1) A prior owner cut the sides off on the front panel fins to I assume fit into a cabinet. This does not impact functionality at all. Was done by someone who knows their way around a metal shop as there are no rough edges to the raw metal. 2) The volume POTs on the back must stay at full volume (THX). If you reduce the volume, lots of noise gets introduced into the sound and becomes very scratchy. I suspect this is a cheap, easy fix with the right electronics cleaner. Es müssen nur wenige Kabel vom alten Output-Board wiederverwendet werden, d. h. etwas Löterfahrung ist notwendig. Das Board besteht aus einer doppelseitigen 70 µm Kupferauflage und der gemessene RDSon beträgt pro Kanal 8 mOhm. Das original OMRON Relais hat im Neuzustand einen Kontakt-Übergangswiderstand von ca. 30 mOhm. Das Output-Board passt nur in den HCA1200 II. Alle Kontaktprobleme und überhöhte Klirrwerte durch hohe und klopfempfindliche Übergangwiderstände sind damit dauerhaft beseitigt. Es gibt hier in Zukunft keinen weiteren Verschleiß mehr.
