Classic Parasound CD transport in excellent condition. Comes as shown with the original box, manual and remote. It works great and Ive replaced the belt. The issue is that the plastic cover over the laser sits high enough that the CD drags on it. Maybe the spindle bearing rides low and can be replaced I dont know. I managed to get some lube inside but it really needs the spindle removed to place a drop in the shaft. Maybe that would fix the height issue. Otherwise without the plastic it tracks and plays well. The spindle has no play on it outside of pulling it up a tiny bit. This unit sounds excellent! The display is a little brighter in areas but is very readable. Unit hardly has a mark on it, remote works great and also in excellent condition. Fine scratches on the display and plastic cover. Direct signature required on delivery which will be fully insured. It was tested on the matching DAC before I sold it.

Ansonsten schön räumlich und einfach angenehm. Stundenlanges hören macht den Zuhörer niemals müde. Einfach nur schade, dass diese Tradition im Stereo-Bereich nicht fortgeführt wird. Dieses Hörvergnügen muss woanders auch noch im Jahre 2008 teurer bezahlt werden. Parasound PLD 2000 Preamplifier: Faulty and Needs Repair or for Parts. Tested and one of the channel has problem. On low volume you will hear some static ticking noise. When I turn up the volume theres sound on both speakers and the static noise disappears. When I turned down the volume all the way to zero, you can hear the problem. Also when I used my headphones, I can definitely hear than 1 channel is faulty. I initially thought it was my amplifier but it turned out its this preamplifier. Selling “AS-IS”. No returns. Der Player hat aber trotzdem Probleme, manche CDs werden eingelesen und problemlos abgespielt, andere nicht mal eingelesen. Man muss hier sicher mal einen Abgleich machen. Oder es gibt tieferliegende Probleme... . Habe einfach keine Lust mehr mich mit dem Teil zu befassen. Viel Spass also! Verkauf ausdrücklich als defekt! Sometimes working, sometimes not. Belt and tray are new. But the player has problems. Some CDs are read and played problem free. Others are not even read. I think the player needs an adjustment at least, but further problems are possible. Have fun! Explicitely sold as defect! So, the new owner has to bring it to professional for some cleaning or services. Good physical condition with some wear and scratches due to use. The small knob for Balance Control is missing. The potentiometer is still here with the shaft. So, the balance control works fine, just need a replacement of the knob.
