At one point I thought Id update and tried several new subs but none could do the lows like this one. Not without going into the thousands again. Ultimately Ive done away with surround sound altogether and have gone 2-channel vintage tube audio only. The sub is in nice condition, there are 4 dings of note that Ive taken pictures of. The stock plastic grill guides have been replaced by much sturdier wood guides (the pins that hold the grill onto the sub). I purchased this mighty sub as part of a trio. I do not have a need for it right now. Id luke to know that it will be appreciated in another system. Ive narrowed down my choice of sub to the Siesmuc 12s. They pack an effortless punch to your home theater or roll them off and give your other channels a rest trying to hit that low that the Paradigms do for a living when listening to 2 channel stereo. All of the compliance rings are pliable. The cabinet is in 7+ condituon. 8 isnt a stretch. A very faint buzz can B heard if there nothing else on line. My others Seismics did the same thing. When they are powered up, auto on, the buzz disappears. Full disclosure as I want to keep my audio karma strong. I do have 1 original box. I have a figure in mind thatd let it go... lets talk. This is a Paradigm Subwoofer that originally came as part of the Cinema 70 Home theater set. I already had a larger sub so I used that instead and this one was used on my computer sound system. It was disconnected awhile ago when I moved and has been in a box since. Sub has had very little use. Following is a review with specs on the subwoofer from CNET. The sub is also on the demure side at 11 inches wide, 13 inches tall, and 12 inches deep. This 20-pound baby boomer is solidly constructed of medium-density fiberboard and rests on four large, plastic feet.The matte-silver Cinema 70 system comes with gray, knit grilles; the other option is to get everything in black. This is Paradigms second iteration of the package, sometimes listed as the Cinema 70 v.2. The Cinema subwoofer boasts an 8-inch carbon-fiber woofer and a feisty 90-watt (continuous)/270-watt (peak) power amp. The subs rear panel hosts the amplifiers heat sink, the crossover and volume controls, a single mono RCA input, and stereo speaker-level spring clips. That connectivity covers all the possible hookup scenarios for A/V and stereo receivers. Cabinet is in great shape, no chips or major defects. Very minor superficial marks cabinet. Grill is perfect, no rips or pulls. Power cord was shortened so it has 2 inline connectors as shown in picture. Buyer to pay exact shipping by FedEx or UPS ground, depending on where you live.
