This Klipsch KDA-500 amplifier offers Klipsch power and performance in a sleek, 1 rack unit solution. The 1RU-sized amplifier measures 1.73 x 19.02 x 14.29 [44mm x 483mm x 363 mm]. The high efficiency class G/H design produces 500 watts, 125 watts to each of its four channels, but draws just 40 watts at idle (or less if auto-turn on is selected in the online menu). The auto-on sensing threshold to turn on the amplifier can be adjusted from 1 mV to 100 mV. The outputs can be programmed for low impedance speakers: 4, 6, 8 or 16 ohm, or for 70V/100V distributed line applications. Impedance can be set independently for each channel for full customization. Pairs of outlets can also be bridged via the menu. From small residential systems to large commercial installations, this amplifier offers professional-level installation flexibility.
