Description
About the BS750The BS750s capabilities include: twin Freesat tuners for watching one channel and recording another. DVD, Blu-ray and hard disk recording. USB playback and compatibility with MP3s, JPEGs, DV, AVCHD, DivX files and, of course, audio CDs. An Ethernet connection, HDMI 1080P upscaling and analogue inputs for old equipment, if you have any. Given the multitude of functions, Panasonic has done a commendable job with the menu system which is intuitive and graphically pleasing. Recording from Freesat is a cinch, with automatic programme tracking ensuring that over-running shows are fully recorded. High-definition recordings, retain studio-like quality on disk and look every bit as sensational. When recording onto DVD, or recording from external sources via the AV inputs, you have the regular XP, SP, LP and EP record modes. The DMR-BS750 does an exemplary job with standard-def recording, which doesnt have to be made onto DVD, can still be done on Blu-ray for 5 times the storage of standard DVD! And 10 times on a 50gb Blu-ray! Images are as good as you would expect from a top-end deck, as Panasonics P4HD engine and PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus pay rich dividends. The DMR-BS750 doesnt fall down on the audio front, either. Its high-quality sound components do a great job with stereo CDs and MP3/LPCM audio from the hard disk, and it can output DTS HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD as a bitstream or convert them into PCM. This means you can get immaculate multichannel sound using an HDMI-equipped amplifier. If your just using TV speakers or a Soundbar youll still hear the benefit.THIS MACHINE HAS BEEN SERVICED:Capacitors on the power board have been replaced.
