Up for auction is two National Union type 2A3 vacuum tubes. These directly-heated triodes test ~70+ and ~72+ on my TV-7D/U (min. 38) At 70 on range C, were at 3,500 micromhos, and at 50 micromhos per scale unit:-- 70 = 3,500 + 5 x 00 = 3,500 micromhos; 66.67% of NOS rating (5,250 micromhos)-- 72 = 3,500 + 2 x 50 = 3,600 micromhos; 68.57% of NOS rating (5,250 micromhos) I imagine these would perform nicely as a pair. Glass is pretty good for being as old as it is, clear markings for tube numbers. See photos for high resolution close-ups.
