I can confirm that this amplifier is capable of driving difficult loads. My B&W DM2 and DM12 generally like more power to sing and this amp did not disappoint. Topping PA7 is one of the interesting Class D high power amplifiers. While some early examples encountered issues, this one has been in use for over 1.5 years without issue. Selling only to upgrade to the PA7 plus. Amp has Balanced(Xlr) and RCA inputs and banana plugs for speaker connection. Comes with standard 48v 5a power supply. Also included is a pair of usb fans that can be used to provide cooling for the amplifier. To be honest I never encountered and overheating issues but used them as a precaution. In general the class D amps can generate considerable heat and I think it’s a good idea to provide active cooling to ensure long life and enjoyment. This is a really unique amp for a powerful yet minimalist audio setup. The amp performs better than I expected - neutral, powerful, clean. I don’t think you will be disappointed. I’m also selling my Teac UD-503 DAC / Preamp. I used it with the PA7 for balanced connections and it was a very good combination.
