Should be fine though as record function works ok. Plays back with no issues, speed calibrated , ff/rew also function as expected. In a very good condition for a 40 year old machine. Few marks and scuffs here and there, see photos for condition as they form part of description. Comes with power lead and phono leads,( which are attached). (Please note these machines are old and even though sold as working with no issues, problems may occur further down the line due to age.. ) Any questions? Please ask.

Vintage Marantz cassette deck SD 1030 - Champagne colour 1980s. Moving house (downsizing) so selling on items no longer needed. This deck has been stored in a cupboard and not used for many years. I have powered up the unit and the unit lights up but there is some background noise. I no longer have any cassettes to test the unit further but would imagine belts would likely need replacing. So it may only be useful for spares or repairs. The outer casing is in excellent condition, please zoom into photos to confirm condition. The casette deck door dosent open via the button it needs gentle persuasion.
