POLK AUDIO PSW 1000 DUAL 10 POWERED SUBWOOFER (custom) Subwoofer Story: Polk built these Subs, say.. nine plus years ago. They were amazing Subwoofers. However, their Amplifiers installed by Polk would fail... They failed a lot. The Subs were discontinued/recalled. The Amplifiers were removed and at some point they were bundled onto pallets, and sold as lots. So a guy I met (on eBay) was sort of an Audio enthusiast, and had a background in cabinet building. He was one of the individuals who bought these by the pallet. I saw him selling these on eBay, and discovered he was rather local to me. So, he offered these with a variety of Amps, and you could keep or replace the Polk Drivers. I had, at the time a wholesale account with Dayton Audio, So I had him install their 1000 watt max Plate Sub Amplifier in one of the Subs. He subsequently swapped out the Drivers for some really serious units from Elemental Design (no longer around) So, the result was this Subwoofer, that has the really amazing Polk Cabinet with Power Port (on the back) and more power and better drivers than Polk ever supplied. On movie-night this thing will shake the walls. I have not been using it in my main system, as I have in-wall Subs these days. So, it is time for this baby to find a new home. Whatever this sells for will be a bargain for the new owner. (todays version of just the Amp is $499.00) This is a Sub that will challenge units that cost well over a thousand dollars. Shipping will be high as I have to get a reinforced box (maybe double box) and, its over 100lbs. Thanks for looking/reading!

Offered for your consideration: Philips SACD1000 player with its remote control. Cosmeticaly I would say in excellent condition, there is just nothing that needs to be mentioned. The working condition: it power up, but I tried CD, DVD and bluray, non of them would play. It takes the media, it says Reading and in about 30-40 seconds the tray opends, it would not read. I do not have any SACD to try, but as far as I understand it should be able to ready CDs and DVDs. I connected it to a TV via Video out, it shows the unit on the TV. The remote seems to work, at least whatever I have tried. The remote is in excellent condition as well. The unit is offered as is for parts or repair only. It is rather heavy,therefore I will ship in continental USA only please (Alaska, PR and Hawaii will be significantly more expensive... I think).Feel free to contact with any questions you may have. Philips SACD 1000 Super Audio CD Player With Box Like new cosmetic condition.  Looks like it was never used.  Player turns on & cd drawer opens.  The push open/close button does not work.  When the CD drawer is manually pushed in it pops back out.  To close drawer the player has to be turned off.  Light humming sound & it sounds like it wants to close.
