RCA record changer 4 speeds 1950s Orthophonic HI FI great restore project. Here is a nice rca player that has some scratches but the white on the tone arm is nice and the platter mat has some life. The shaft washer is missing but all the other stuff looks to be there. The platter is hung up on something and does not spin to well. The unit needs rebuilt. I believe this table came out of an Orthophonic unit that I still have. That is I have the body and table with legs.. I hope someone can use this unit. This mid century stuff is getting hard to find. Only ships to lower 48 states.

The audio does seem to vary if it plays from the rear speaker or not. The only difference is the needle position. The needle may need to be replaced because sometimes I would have to reset the needle for the audio to come through but it could very well be our record. I think with some minor adjustments from someone who knows more about record players, it would be a great addition for someone. The treble, bass & and volume do work fine. Not sure of the correct way to use the automatic metal stacking spindle adapter off to the side to know if that is working. If you need any additional images, please let us know. Table is keeping the correct speeds, but has cycling issues. Will need serviceto correct them. Up for sale is an RCA SHF-7 RS-164 Orthophonic 6V6 Tube Amplifier Chassis that could be repaired as a standalone hifi, part of a stereo, or modified as a guitar amplifier. Sold as is and assumed not working! However, I checked the power and output transformers with a meter, and theyre good. Someone started to replace the capacitors but never finished. I highly recommend replacing the remaining capacitors, including the electrolytics, before putting back into use. This amplifier uses a 5Y3, 2 6V6s, a 6CG7/6FQ7, and a 6AV6. No tubes included. International buyers are welcomed, but are responsible for postage and customs duties!
