This 1980's SOTA Sapphire turntable is a must-have for any audiophile. With its Origin Live Onyx tonearm and numerous upgrades, it produces high-quality sound that will transport you to another world. As a used item, this turntable may have some signs of wear, but its overall performance is still exceptional. This turntable new would be worth well over $3000. It sounds fantastic and with the upgrades will last a long time. This is a early 80’s Sota that has been upgraded with the above components within the last 2 years. Only blemish is the slight raising of wood on back side of plinth that has no effect on the table whatsoever. This table is huge and weighs a lot so local pickup only. You will not be disappointed. Very nice condition Origin Live Onyx tonearm in the original box and packing. I used it sparingly on a Rega P3 turntable. It was definitely a step up from the Rega arms I used on it... More transparent, better soundstage, better bottom end. I uses an older style Rega screw on type arm mount that would be like the RB300, 600 or 250. VTA adjustments are easily done which is an advantage over the Rega arms. Comes with original box, packing, instructions and all parts. To listing included a very heavy additional arm base from steel for the tonearm with a pivot to the spindle 230 mm. The turntable was recently serviced and work flawlessly.
