Optonica /Sharp RT-6905 Computer Controlled Stereo Cassette Deck HiFi Vintage Description Optonica (Sharp) RT-6905 Computer Controlled Stereo Cassette Deck from 1979 – 1981. 3-heads and off-tape monitoring, digital tape counter with three digits, manual tape type selection and capable of handling normal, chrome, ferrochrome and metal tapes, belt-driven dual-capstan transport. Tested and fully working. Good used condition. Has minor scratches and marks of use. The sisplays are a little tired. See pictures carefully for condition. However, it is an over-40-year-old model, so don’t expect modern sound quality or utterly silent running. These old decks do make a bit more noise than new digital stuff! There is some noise to its operation, but that’s to be expected from a mechanical device from the early 80s.
