I bought this Oppo BDP-83 Special Edition new and used it for many years, mostly to play CDs, SACDs, and Blue Ray discs in my two-channel stereo system. I also used it with some frequency to play DVDs. It has served me well through the years and never needed repair. It plays just about every format you can think of. It does so very well -- it is not a fatiguing player. You are bidding on the player, the original remote, and the owners manual. I swapped out the power cord with an upgraded cord. Im including that, as I cannot find the original cord. Some years back I tossed the original box. I will pack the unit and accessories up very well and ship securely.
