Onkyo TX3000 in great condition. All new Nichicon , Panasonic Or Illinois Capacitor caps. Deoxit switches and controls. LED and suitable dropping resistors for locked and stereo indicators. New filament lamp for tuned indicator.( Special tuning lock circuit requires this).All resistors checked. I replaced the original speaker terminal strips with gold plated banana and/or thru hole terminals for a more secure connection. Alignment checked , balance checked; works well on all functions. The AM ferrite loop does pretty well for A M reception, but I found a 2-3 ft. wire on the external antenna connection works better. Of course an external FM dipole or 75 or 300 ohm antenna is required.This is a very well constructed unit with premium build quality. Included is part of the service manual, parts list, spec. sheet.45 Watts/channel ( 8 ohms) at a rated .04% THD at full power. 20-30000 hz response at +-1 dB. Impressive sensitivity . The usual inputs for phono, tape, etc. on the back. The FM locking is unique, when you touch the tuning knob, it activates a circuit to fine tune, when you release the knob it locks on the frequency.This unit works fine when shipped, no warranty expressed or implied after that. I WOULD PREFER A LOCAL PICKUP. I DO NOT LIKE SHIPPING ELECTRONICS. I HAVE TRIED DIFFERENT CARRIERS AND THE AMOUNT OF ROUGH HANDLING IS DISTURBING. IF IT IS SHIPPED IT WILL BE EXPENSIVE DUE TO OVERSIZE PACKING AND PADDING.
