Onkyo TX-2500 MKII Servo Locked Stereo Receiver. Fully tested, all inputs and outputs are working. Updated with a brand-new matching indicator light. Per classicreceivers.com, Onkyo TX-2500 is the MK II version of TX 2500 which does differ slightly from the regular TX-2500: Onkyo’s TX-2500 is listed at 27 watts per channel while the Tx-2500 MK II is listed at 40 watts per channel. Of course, the late 70’s were the height of the receiver wars where each manufacturer was trying to outdo the other with more watts per channel and other features. This is probably why Onkyo decided to up the ante with the power output. Total harmonic distortion was lowered as well from 0.5% to 0.1%. This great looking stereo is in good physical shape. I powered it up and quickly tuned in a radio Station. No further testing done.

A great example of a one owner survivor. it is perfect in every way except the external antenna which was broken off and the wires cut but can be repaired. other than that almost flawless. puts out 40 watts per channel and has a phono input as well. Comes with all the manuals and warrantys issued at sale rare stuff!!

The antenna is there but seems kinda loose. Does have a crack on the top right corner of the front display.

Onkyo sintoamplificatore TX-2500 MKII. Tutti i comandi rispondono perfettamente e senza alcun disturbo nel suono, strumenti TUNING e SIGNAL funzionanti, ricevitore radio stereo AM-FM funzionante anche se la ricezione del segnale un po debole ma in FM comunque riceve tutte le stazioni, tutta lilluminazione funziona compreso le varie spie, tutto in ordine e molto pulito anche allinterno (vedi foto) . Lo vendo ad un prezzo basso perch purtroppo sul pannello frontale non si leggono pi le varie scritte serigrafate completamente sbiadite ed inoltre manca il cappuccio di rifinitura di una manopola.
