The pitcher you see with the Aluminum Heat sink is the Amplifier Assembly and the elongated Board is the Driver Board that attaches via connectors in the center of the Amp Assembly. I did this so you can see a better pitcher of the Whole Assembly. Speaker hookups are a little confusing so I thought I didn’t have them correct and had no volume. Then I wiggled connections and everything worked fine and continued to work correctly for the whole afternoon. Next time I turned it on the volume control did not work properly again. The next time I turned it on it came on with the volume crank all the way up! Scared the s*it out of me. So there is an issue with the volume control and I don’t have the resources to trace it. If you can figure it out you will have a super receiver. Heavy big unit so the shipping is what it is. I hate to toss it - Save it from the landfill!
