ONKYO AV RECEIVER MODEL TX-NR708 VERY GOOD COSMETIC CONDITION. FOR PARTS OR REPAIR THIS UNIT SHOWED NO SPEAKER ICONS AND PLAYED NO SOUND WHEN I FIRST GOT IT, THOUGH IT SEEMED TO GO THROUGH ALL ITS INPUT OPTIONS AND TUNING. I SAW THAT THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM RELATED TO THE DTS CHIP. I TRIED DOING A GENTLE REFLOW WITH MY HEAT GUN (ABOUT 20- 30 SECONDS) AND GOT SOME RESULTS- THE SPEAKER ICONS ON THE FRONT DISPLAY CAME ON AND IT PLAYED SOUND VIA THE HEADPHONE JACK (I DON’T HAVE SPEAKERS TO TEST IT THOROUGHLY).
