This Onkyo TA-R240 Stereo Auto Reverse Cassette Deck Player has been tested and seems to work perfectly. It has been my personal tape deck for 35 years and while I have pulled it out and used it on rare occasion, It was fully functional when retired. I dont currently have cassette tapes to test with, but the unit powers on and lights appropriately. The forward and reverse functions, including fast forward and fast reverse, both work. All cassette tape type indicators toggle when depressed. Dolby toggles on and off and indicates change between b and c. Because I do not have cassette tapes so Im unable to test the recording, output and playback of the unit.
