Exterior in good condition. Lights up when plugged in. Cassette door opens and closes shut. Buttons and knobs feel compliant. Underneath is missing a rubber foot. ***Please Note: not working in current state. Fast forward and reverse modes work, but cassette doesnt play when play button is pushed. A quick internet search indicates a capstan or reel motor issue. Does not come with remote control or user guide.

A Subsonic filter is provided in the TA-2047 to prevent infrasonic signals generated when playing a warped record. These signals can upset the Dolby system and preventing it from functioning properly. The 19kHz multiplex pilot signal present in FM stereo broadcasts can cause false triggering of the noise reduction system. The switchable MPX filter of the TA-2047 filters out the pilot signal, and assuring proper Dolby processing of FM stereo programs.To make live recordings this deck has 2 microphone inputs to connect microphones with a jack connector. For undisturbed listening a jack connector for a pair of stereo headphones is supplied.
