Red IR light on the front comes on when buttons are pushed. Requires 2 AA batteries (not included). This remote was with an Onkyo DX-C330 that was damaged beyond repair, I believe it does fit other Onkyo CD Changer models. DO YOUR HOMEWORK, again, this was with a DX-C330 remote part is RC-289C.
