DescriptionONKYO M-508 power amplifier. It used to ring for about 10 minutes a few times a month for maintenance purposes. I was using a direct connection to the preamplifier, but when I checked the variable connection, it seems that there is a gully on the left CH. There is a slight pop sound when the power is turned off, but the left and right output is well balanced. There are some small scratches, but I think its in pretty good condition. Main capacitors have been replaced. Left Channel works great, as does the meter. However it needs new meter lamps. Right channel does not work (only low distorted volume). However, the right meter does light up. The original speaker jacks were broken; so, they were replaced with a set from a defunct M-504 (which doesnt allow banana plugs). The selector buttons stick (might need some alignment with the face/frame to remediate that). Cosmetically, it is in pretty good condition, aside from the side panels, which will need to be replaced (or re-laminated).

This vintage Onkyo M508 monster amplifier is non-functional. It blows fuses. It has had its 8 main capacitors replaced, to no avail. Side panels are missing. Otherwise, it is in nice cosmetic condition.
