Tried to refurbish this guy and unfortunately the belt that governs the election motor was so bad it melted. I cleaned it up and installed a replacement but you cant even hear the motor trying to fire up. The changer still rotates and picks up CDs as well as plays them so everything else is good. I removed the old gummed up belt so you can just pull the tray out and use it technically. The two belts for the carousel and pickup are old and could use replacement but arent in danger of melting.
