I have been using this as my personal unit for many years. The speakers started to have a scratchy noise for the first minute when it powers on then the sound clears up and sounds perfect. So I would always just leave it on so I didnt have to wait for the sound to clear up. My guess is a capacitor is starting to go. Great project to get a great system for a great price. Lots of YouTube videos of how to do it. I sadly dont have the time. Im selling as parts but you could use it as is.
