High Power High End Onkyo TX-SR706AV Receiver 9.5/ 10 physical condition. Powers on, all controls and all lights work. Clean bright display. Will work properly but not all the time. Speaker hookups are a little confusing so I thought I didn’t have them correct and had no volume. Then I wiggled connections and everything worked fine and continued to work correctly for the whole afternoon. Next time I turned it on the volume control did not work properly again. The next time I turned it on it came on with the volume crank all the way up! Scared the s*it out of me. So there is an issue with the volume control and I don’t have the resources to trace it. If you can figure it out you will have a super receiver. Heavy big unit so the shipping is what it is. I hate to toss it - Save it from the landfill!
