Bought this new off eBay circa 2005 from a dealer in Texas. Had some money, newer home, just finishing the basement. Paired it with an Onkyo DV-SP1000 and a fancy Sonance speaker system that had its own subwoofer amp and two subwoofer speakers in a 7 cabinet that I had built into the wall. System was powerful. Fast-forward to today. Took the speakers and AV equipment in the divorce. Tried to make the receiver work but at one point the dog got to the remote and I was tired of dealing with HDMI-1 and digital cables for audio. I think it all happened when the plasma monitor I had spontaneously fried itself as we say down to dinner. The replacement TV had HDMI and RCA and the receiver became a pain in the ass. Bought a newer Onkyo to replace this (see sellers other items) but had a bad experience so I went with Kenwood. This receiver was working flawlessly when replaced. Its sat since forever because its hard to give away something that cost so much so long ago. Um es kurz zu sagen es ist so unfassbar laut, dass kaum noch jemand den Orginalen Receiver von Philips hat. Die sind schon bei 18Stunden auf volle Lautstrke kaputt gegangen. Dieser ist deshalb nicht mit dabei aber dafr ein Robuster AV-Receiver von Onkyo(die sind so gut wie unzerstrbar und haben mehr mglichkeiten jedoch weniger Leistung). Es hat ausser dem Musik,-Kino,auch einen Gamer- Modus mit denen knnen Ego-Shooter Liebhaber zum Beispiel nicht nur hren ob jemand von links oder rechts kommt sonder haben einen 360Audio dank mehrerer Lautsprecher auf verschiedenen Etagen in FrontLR,- RearLR,-speaker. Optional knnen sogar noch zwei zustzliche Lautsprecher angeschlossen werden und somit aus dem Philips 5.1+Sub Entertainment-System ganz einfach eine 7.1 Anlage draus machen.
